The brides who look most relaxed on the day are almost never the ones who did the most. They are the ones who started early and did things in the right order. Skin, hair and nails all respond to a schedule, and a schedule also protects you from last-minute panic.

Six to eight weeks out: start the skin plan

This is the window that gives the most natural, lasting result. A pre-bridal programme sequences facials, polish rituals, hair treatments and grooming so each one peaks on the wedding day, not before. The key is consistency: the plan works as a sequence, so keep every appointment.

If you are planning bigger hair changes, such as colour, extensions or a smoothing treatment, start the conversation even earlier. These are best decided with a stylist while there is still time to adjust.

Four weeks out: hair and colour decisions

  • Finalise any colour or highlights so there is time to tone and gloss if needed
  • Choose a treatment for frizz or damage and schedule it well ahead of the event, not the week of
  • Decide your bridal hairstyle so we can plan length, volume and any extensions

Two to three weeks out: the trial

Book your makeup trial weeks ahead so there are no surprises on the day. Bring your outfit details, jewellery and a few reference photos, and be honest about how you like to look. Good bridal makeup enhances your features rather than masking them, and HD and airbrush techniques keep it flawless through heat, tears and a thousand photographs.

The final week: keep it simple

This is not the week to try anything new. Stick to gentle skincare, book your final grooming and nail appointment, and confirm your on-day timings and touch-up support. Wax and threading are best done a few days ahead, not the morning of.

The day itself

Allow generous time for hair and makeup, roughly two to three hours for makeup alone, and plan your family's own appointments around yours so nobody is rushing you.

One more thing: be honest about your budget. We would rather prioritise the treatments that matter most for you than sell you a long list.
