Will gel polish damage my nails?
Not when it's done properly. The damage people experience comes from over-filing or peeling gel off. We prep gently and remove gel correctly, keeping your natural nail healthy.
How long does gel polish last?
Typically 2–3 weeks of chip-free wear, often longer. It's ideal before a holiday, wedding season or any stretch where you don't want to think about your nails.
How should I get it removed?
Come back for proper soak-off removal — never peel it off, as that takes layers of your nail with it. Removal is quick and gentle here.
Can I add nail art to gel polish?
Absolutely — gel is a great base for art, from simple accents to detailed designs. Just let us know when booking so we can allow the time.
Will removing gel damage my nails?
Not if it's done properly. We do a patient soak-off removal — never peeling or forcing, which is what actually causes the damage people blame on gel. If you've got gel on now from elsewhere, we'll remove it safely before your new set.
How long does gel polish really last?
Two to three weeks of glassy, chip-free wear for most clients — usually until the regrowth bothers you before the polish does. Good prep is the difference between gel that lasts and gel that peels in week one, and prep is where we're obsessive.
